The port FOB of 220 liters of 42% mother liquor is raised by US$100/ton to 3,500-3,600 US dollars/ton; the port FOB of 200 liters of 20% water agent has been raised by US$50/kl to 2,280-2,500 US dollars/kl.

    As far as the market is concerned, the reasons for the increase in paraquat prices are as follows:

    From the perspective of raw materials, the price of the upstream product pyridine fluctuated and rose, and the supply was tight, and the cost side supported the high price of paraquat.

    From the perspective of supply, with the exception of a manufacturer in Jiangsu that stopped production for maintenance, mainstream suppliers basically started work at full capacity. In addition, some factories mainly completed previous orders, and there is no room for spot delivery. The real-time supply in the market is relatively low.

    From the perspective of demand, the attention of foreign market demand continues to rise, and the enthusiasm for purchasing is high.

    From the perspective of logistics, water transportation has returned to normal, but the storage space is tight, the booking is difficult, and the shipping pressure is great.

    In addition, from June 6 to 17, 2022, the tenth Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention announced that paraquat would not be included in the proposal to be listed in Annex III. This result may lead to the delay of the plan to ban paraquat in some foreign countries, and the demand side is greatly supported.
